Gerald is a life long resident and native of South Baldwin County. The only time he ever lived away from this area was during the time his parents were stationed on the North Carolina coast with the military. Gerald's formal education was received from the University of Alabama 1967-1972, Accounting and Business Administration Major. Gerald has spent his entire adult life working on "The Beach." From age 13 till present, serving visitors to the Alabama coast has been a way of life. Along with David Bodenhamer and other partners he has developed several condominium projects, motel properties, and Sea N' Suds Restaurant and Oyster Bar. Gerald has been licensed in the real estate profession since 1981, receiving a broker's license in 1983.
